About The Role
The Social Media Manager owns organic social strategy, content creation, and community engagement across all major platforms including LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram. The role focuses on building brand authority, driving product education, and growing an active community of tech professionals and decision-makers. Operating at the intersection of creative storytelling and performance marketing, the role partners with product, design, and growth teams to turn technical concepts into engaging social-first campaigns. This is a hybrid position based in New York, NY, requiring a blend of creative production, technical understanding, and community-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive organic social media strategy aligned with product launches, marketing campaigns, and brand initiatives.
Write, design, and produce high-quality, social-first content daily, including short‑form video, graphics, and text posts tailored to each platform's algorithm.
Monitor social channels daily, leading active community management and engaging with industry influencers, customers, and prospects.
Own the global social media content calendar, coordinate cross‑functional inputs, and ensure consistent messaging across all handles.
Track, analyze, and report weekly on key metrics such as engagement rate, follower growth, website referral traffic, and brand sentiment using social analytics tools.
Partner with internal design, video production, and executive leadership teams to elevate employee advocacy and executive branding programs.
What We Are Looking For
3–6 years of experience managing social media channels for a high‑growth technology, SaaS, or digital media brand.
Proven track record of growing active organic communities and executing creative social campaigns with measurable engagement impact.
Proficiency with modern social media management suites (Sprout Social, Buffer, or Hootsuite) and creative design tools (Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite).
Strong short‑form copywriting and video‑editing skills optimized for platforms like TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Ability to grasp complex, technical product concepts and translate them into accessible, engaging social narratives.
Bonus: Experience with social listening tools (Brandwatch, Meltwater), basic video production skills, or experience executing paid social campaigns.
