Sr PD&D Designer Men's All in Motion

Pay range: $95,000.00 - $171,000.00.
Role Summary

As an Sr. Designer for Men’s All in Motion, you will lead product design and development for Target-owned brands, collaborating with merchants, sourcing, technical designers, and partners to ensure brand cohesion and alignment with merchant line plans, assortment strategies, and creative direction. You will drive research, forecast trends, shop global markets, and mentor junior designers.
Key Responsibilities

Diligently manage workload while communicating effectively with internal and external partners.
Lead product research and design, including concept development and selection of color stories, fabrics, prints, trims, and graphics.
Act as an industry expert to forecast category, brand, business, or guest segment trends.
Shop global markets, identify trends, and travel to factories for product development and execution.
Mentor Associate Designers and facilitate collaboration among the design team.
Ensure brand cohesion by partnering with peers across the division.
Develop product designs that support merchant line plans, assortment strategies, and price points.
Collaborate with technical designers and sourcing partners to troubleshoot and resolve product issues.
Required Qualifications

Four-year degree in Design, Fine Art, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 8+ years of experience in product design and development.
Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and other computer design systems.
Advanced understanding of textiles, garment construction/fit or raw materials and product production.
Commercial sense and market knowledge with the ability to research and apply trend information.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to respond to business objectives with creative, innovative, and cost-effective solutions.
Knowledge of product development processes.
