Overview WORKIND Studio is a hospitality strategy and interior design studio based in San Diego. We believe design is more than aesthetics. It’s a strategic business tool that shapes culture, influences behavior, and creates demand.
We partner with hospitality brands to create restaurants, bars, hotels, and experiences that are both culturally meaningful and commercially successful. We’re looking for an independent Social Content Producer to help transform our ideas, projects, and strategic thinking into beautifully executed editorial style content.
This is not a traditional social media manager role. We already have a clear content strategy, brand voice, and editorial direction in place. We’re looking for someone with exceptional creative judgment who can bring that vision to life through thoughtful editing, compelling visuals, and polished execution.
If you’re the kind of person who notices typography, pacing, composition, music, and storytelling before you notice algorithms, you’ll probably feel at home here.
Your Role You’ll work closely with our founders to help launch a new social media strategy and produce high quality, editorial content of our work and the thinking behind it.
Responsibilities include:
Edit Instagram Reels and short-form videos
Create graphics and visual assets from project photography, sketches, presentations, and videos
Refine captions while maintaining our established voice
Prepare and publish content across Instagram and LinkedIn
Organize content files and maintain a production calendar
Bring creative ideas that elevate the quality of our storytelling
This role is focused on creative production and execution —not developing marketing strategy, community management, or paid advertising.
Who You Are You have exceptional creative taste and care deeply about how things look, feel, and communicate.
You are someone who:
Has a strong eye for layout, typography, composition, pacing, and visual storytelling
Produces thoughtful, high-quality content rather than chasing every trend
Is looking to be in the “driver seat” and run an initiative, with a collaborative attitude.
Is organized, dependable, and meets deadlines consistently
Appreciates architecture, hospitality, interiors, branding, culture, and thoughtful design
Ability to capture content in the San Diego County region every other month.
How to Apply Please send dylan@workindstudio.com:
A brief introduction about yourself
Your portfolio or examples of work you’ve edited or designed
Three Instagram, LinkedIn, or creative accounts whose style inspires you
A rough proposal that outlines your scope, rate, and start date.
