Chekhub is hiring: Technical Writer in Raleigh

About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Writer to own the content that helps our customers understand and get the most out of Chekhub. This role covers a mix of product documentation, support and how-to content, and marketing copy — you'll be the voice behind our help center, our onboarding materials, and a good chunk of what customers read before, during, and after they start using our platform.
All current positions require candidates to be located in Raleigh, NC. These are in-office roles. We are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
Responsibilities

Create and maintain product documentation, training materials, and how-to guides for Chekhub's platform.
Build and manage a support knowledge base, including FAQs, to reduce customer friction and support load.
Create and maintain content across various channels.
Incorporate customer feedback, internal knowledge, and technical specs into an ongoing feedback loop to continuously improve documentation.
Required Skills

2+ years of experience in technical writing, content writing, or a related field.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, accessible content.
Experience building or maintaining a knowledge base, help center, or similar documentation system.
Proficiency leveraging AI tools and automation to develop and improve content, and to enhance the overall end-user/customer experience.
Comfort working directly with product and engineering teams to understand new features.
Ability to adapt tone and format for technical and non-technical audiences.
Must be located in the Raleigh, NC area.
Nice-to-Have

Experience in teaching, onboarding, or training environments.
Experience writing for a B2B or SaaS product.
Familiarity with documentation tools and help desk platforms.
Graphic design skills.
Familiarity with knowledge capture and documentation tools (e.g., Loom, Trupeer, or similar).
A portfolio or writing samples spanning technical or product documentation, support content, and marketing copy.
