Overview
We are seeking a full‑time Group Account Director. The ideal account person is a leader with tenacity, resourcefulness, business sense, pro‑active curiosity, and cool‑headedness to behave like the CEO of their account, brand or project. The GAD is the department’s seniormost leader, acting as an autonomous business lead across the agency’s largest and most important clients.

Responsibilities
The Group Account Director is accountable for operational excellence and client satisfaction across all clients, brands, and initiatives assigned.
Partnership With Clients
- Leads client relationships with an emphasis on driving revenue growth, both organically and through new business.
- Embraces, champions, and sells all of BBH’s capabilities.
- Manages internal teams to identify, propose, and deliver agreed‑upon projects on time, on budget, and on scope.
- Coordinates resources with PM and other colleagues against signed work.
- Ensures all client‑facing materials are error‑free, high quality, and reflective of BBH’s philosophy.
- Communicates findings, insights, and recommendations clearly in written, oral, and presentation forms.
- Leads and interacts with colleagues and clients positively and professionally.
Project / Financial Management
- Champions best‑in‑class project and financial management for all projects and growth opportunities.
- Coaches and teaches project and budget management skills to team members and holds them accountable.
- Partners with Finance to ensure team delivers and tracks tasks, projects, and costs effectively.
- Communicates targets, budgets, and profitability to project teams.
- Supports Finance with revenue forecasting, financial reporting, invoicing, and debt collection.
- Forecasts revenue and monthly targets for clients and raises challenges or risks promptly.
- Recommends course of action if client revenue targets move off course.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in client service.
- Significant experience leading advertising agency teams with internal and client leadership.
- Strategic agility: capable of arriving at insights that solve client challenges.
- Conceptual thinker who appreciates great creative and can support and sell the best ideas.
- Expert at solution finding – identifies cost‑effective, client‑effective plans across all BBH capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, including presentation and written communication.
- Polished business acumen, comfortable with C‑Suite and junior clients.
- Demonstrated leadership and relationship‑building skills across personality levels and seniorities.

Compensation Range: USD $149,340.00 – USD $239,148.00 Annually, with possible bonus or incentive compensation. Temporary roles may participate in the freelancer/temporary employee medical plan or 401(k) plan after meeting eligibility criteria. The application deadline is 8/3/2026.
