Public Relations Account Supervisor Job at Stanton & Company in Los Angeles

S&Co is seeking an Account Supervisor to lead key client accounts and manage and develop junior team members. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands‑on PR leader with strong media instincts, excellent writing skills, and proven people‑management experience. The Account Supervisor will serve as a primary client contact, oversee day‑to‑day account execution, and collaborate closely with Account Directors to translate strategy into impactful earned media and influencer results.The ideal candidate is a proactive self‑starter with established media relationships and a strong professional network, who can mentor and inspire a team while consistently delivering measurable results for clients. This position works across brands, experts, and authors, making a blend of personal PR and brand/CPG experience highly desirable.Responsibilities Partner with Account Directors to develop and execute communications strategies aligned with client goalsLead day‑to‑day management of key accounts, overseeing all ongoing PR activity, client communication, PR budget, and expenses, and team executionDevelop press materials, including press releases, pitches, media alerts, and briefs, and thought leadership contentProactively pursue timely press opportunities, securing top‑tier coverage across print, digital, broadcast, podcasts, and social mediaPlan and execute PR campaigns, including media strategy, partnerships, and creative activations; ensure deliverables, timelines, and quality standards are metIdentify, negotiate, and manage brand collaborations and influencer relationshipsLead, mentor, and develop junior team members and interns, providing guidance on execution and professional growthAttributes 5 – 7+ years of PR experience in agency or in‑house, ideally in wellness, lifestyle, consumer brands, and thought leadershipStrong communication skills, both written and spokenStrategic, creative, out‑of‑the‑box thinker with a solutions‑oriented mindsetEstablished media relationships across categories (health, wellness, lifestyle, culture, business, etc.) and platformsSocial media savvy with an understanding of how PR and digital work togetherOrganized, confident, collaborative leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environmentNatural relationship builder with a high level of professionalism and energyStrong interest in brands, founders, and personalities rooted in health, wellness, and active livingExperience working with influencers, talent, and affiliate networks, with an understanding of evolving creator ecosystemsWhy S&Co?
