Frontend Web Developers, NYC

Qualifications

Extensive experience with Javascript, CSS, HTML and jQuery

Experience with modern, popular web frameworks like Angular, Ember, and React.js

1.5+ years experience with Python and Flask (or 2.5+ years experience with similar web framework, and some experience with Python)

Extensive experience with SQL, APIs (REST, JSON-RPC, etc), Git/GitHub (or similar RCS)

1+ years experience with Linux (Ubuntu and Bash experience preferred)

Live in the United States and would be open to relocating to the NYC metro area within 6-9 months

Highly Recommended

Previous UI/UX design experience

Experience with Test-Driven Development, unit testing & functional testing, Scrum/XP/Agile

Nice to Have

Previous Bitcoin development experience (or minimally, respectable knowledge and experience with public key cryptography and cryptographic systems)

Experience (or at a minimum, familiarity) with the other tools and technology powering our stack: RabbitMQ/Celery, PostgreSQL, Redis, HAProxy, Nginx, Jquery, Selenium, Travis, Docker/fig/Ansible, Wiki/Restructured text, AWS, NoSQL (Mongo/Cassandra/etc), Pingdom.

Previous Financial Technology (FinTech) experience — experience working with financial systems’ UI/UX.
