Job Description

Our client is looking for a Web Software Engineer Localization. They would like to add a team member to help build, develop and support their mobile applications for their global markets (localization).
Responsibilities

Launch new localized versions of their web site for multiple global markets.
Add features and localize the site and app experience to optimize for particular markets.
Enhance internationalization and localization.
Enable promotions that encourage targeted local language content creation.
Proficiency working in all aspects of their web architecture, infrastructure and codebase.
Work on high performance client-side programming, optimizing back-end business logic, scalable services and data storage. They also improve the mobile experience, both web and native app.
Work closely with product and design teams to define feature specifications.
Design complex systems and lead the technical solution of projects.
Touch code at every level – from UI, to the servlets and backend services, down to the database and Hadoop.
Develop, deploy and maintain the consumer-facing features.
Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or equivalent).
Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and OO Design.
Web and mobile applications development experience.
Experience with high-volume web applications preferred.
