Position Overview
Autodesk is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to support Media and Entertainment education programs, with an initial focus on Autodesk Flow Studio and the opportunity to expand across the broader M&E portfolio. In this role, you will translate product strategy and technical differentiation into clear, audience-focused messaging, positioning, and assets that drive awareness, adoption, and use among priority audiences in education.
You will also serve as a strategic advocate for education audiences, partnering closely with M&E product teams to ensure education needs are reflected in product thinking, including features, functionality, access, and positioning.
You will turn product capabilities into clear, engaging narratives that connect to classroom environments, educator needs, and student outcomes. Working closely with product, marketing, and program teams, you will help shape how Autodesk tools are understood and adopted in education.
Responsibilities
Serve as the product subject matter expert for M&E within education offerings, and act as a trusted partner to M&E product teams by representing the needs of education audiences.
Develop deep expertise in Flow Studio and related workflows, applying that knowledge to education use cases and learning environments.
Work closely with product teams to understand roadmaps and new functionality, translating into value for education audiences.
Use data, audience insights, and market research to refine positioning and increase engagement across M&E education programs.
Build and evolve personas and use cases that reflect the evolving needs of priority audiences and organizational goals.
Translate complex product features and capabilities into content tailored to students and educators.
Define and shape technical marketing content needs (e.g. demos, guides, workflow examples, explainer content), collaborating with internal or external partners to bring that content to life.
Support digital‑first go‑to‑market efforts that help education audiences discover, adopt, and use Flow Studio and other M&E products.
Stay current on industry trends to ensure messaging and content remain relevant and forward‑looking.
Minimum Qualifications
Background in product marketing, technical marketing, or a related field.
Understanding of M&E workflows such as 3D animation, VFX, or real‑time production.
Hands‑on experience using tools such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms.
Understanding of AI functionality in software, including how AI‑assisted features enhance workflows and user outcomes.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear, simple, and engaging ways.
Strong collaboration skills and comfort working across teams.
Data‑informed mindset, with experience using audience insights and research to guide decisions and improve outcomes.
Familiarity with AI tools and understanding of how AI can support content creation and marketing efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with education audiences, including students, educators, or academic institutions.
Background in developing tutorials, demos, or hands‑on learning content.
Familiarity with student communities, creator ecosystems, or campus programs.
Experience supporting or leading workshops, presentations, or live demonstrations.
Interest in emerging technologies and trends shaping the future of M&E.
