Community Relations Event Intern

Make a real impact across Michigan this summer. As a Community Relations event intern, you will help bring Priority Health's mission to life by supporting events that improve health and strengthen communities. You will gain professional experience in event operations and logistics, experiential brand marketing, project management and planning, public facing communication, on-site decision making, and visibility with health care and community leaders. This role is suited for those who like to stay out from behind the desk most days and want to get an authentic look at what it takes to run real community events, many of which happen outside of the traditional office days and hours. We are seeking an initiative-taking, confident and enthusiastic intern who will serve as an event brand ambassador and learn in real-time alongside our award-winning team. The intern will represent Priority Health as a brand ambassador at a variety of sponsored community events and will assist in organizing and executing campaigns, small gatherings, and large festivals. No two days on the job are the same. You will wrap up the internship with an understanding of how community engagement can both improve health and influence marketing and brand goals.

Provide administrative support, including maintaining event databases, tracking expenses, data, and preparing reports to evaluate sponsorship impact.
Attend and contribute to team meetings, offering creative ideas and feedback.
Collaborate with marketing, brand, sales, and other internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and event success.
