Job Description
The Event Technology Lead plays a key role in delivering innovative event technology solutions that create exceptional experiences for our clients and attendees. This role leads the build and execution of registration websites, mobile apps, onsite badge printing, and attendee engagement while ensuring projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and with a high level of quality.
As the team's Cvent advocate, the Event Technology Lead champions continuous learning and innovation by staying current on product releases, feature enhancements, emerging use cases, and platform best practices. They bring new knowledge back to the team, identify opportunities to better leverage the platform, and help translate new functionality into practical solutions that improve both the client and team experience.
This role also serves as the lead for onboarding, training, and knowledge management within the team. They are responsible for maintaining and evolving training materials, documentation, and best practices, ensuring resources remain organized, relevant, and aligned with changing business needs.

Successful candidates will have the following:
5+ years of experience in a professional office environment with exposure to meeting and event technology.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Cvent, with the ability to elevate platform capabilities and guide others in best practices.
Experience developing and managing registration websites, attendee communications, mobile applications, onsite technology, and badge printing solutions.
Proven ability to quickly learn, implement, and leverage new technologies across multiple platforms and databases.
Experience with quality assurance, testing, validation, process documentation, and best practice development.
Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement, technology adoption, and operational efficiencies that enhance both team performance and the client experience.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel (pivot tables, formulas, mail merges), Word, and Outlook.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to mentor and support others through onboarding, training, and knowledge sharing.
Strong hospitality mindset with exceptional client service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams while taking ownership of individual responsibilities and long-term initiatives.
Superior proofreading and quality control skills.
Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of SpotMe, Cvent EventApp, Cadence, Swoogo, Bizzabo or other meeting industry applications
Experience working in a client-facing environment with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Experience onboarding, training, or mentoring team members and developing process documentation or training materials.
Meeting coordinator, event coordinator, or project manager experience
What you would be doing at unbridled:
Build, manage, and maintain registration websites, meeting applications, and event technology solutions for virtual, hybrid, and in-person events using platforms such as Cvent and WordPress.
Manage multiple event technology projects simultaneously, balancing priorities while delivering accurate, high-quality work within established timelines.
Travel onsite to support live events, including attendee registration, mobile applications, engagement tools, and badge printing.
Organize, validate, and manage event data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility for clients and internal teams.
Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to recommend and implement event technology solutions that enhance the attendee experience and support program goals.
Perform quality assurance and proof all event technology deliverables, including websites, emails, reports, and onsite materials.
Serve as a Cvent advocate by staying current on product releases, feature enhancements, and best practices, and translating new functionality into practical solutions for the team.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve training materials, documentation, and standard operating procedures to support onboarding, knowledge sharing, and consistent platform utilization.
Lead onboarding and foundational Cvent training for new Event Technology team members and support training initiatives for cross-functional teams in partnership with Attendee Experience leadership.
Promote consistent testing, quality assurance, and validation standards while ensuring established processes and best practices are followed across all event technology deliverables.
Participate in ongoing learning opportunities, including regular collaboration with Cvent, to stay informed on platform enhancements and emerging industry trends.
Manage individual project responsibilities while serving as a resource and mentor to the Event Technology team.
