Human Resources Director
The Human Resources Director provides overall HR generalist support for the facility, including recruiting for vacant positions, facilitating employee orientations, maintaining personnel records, managing benefits enrollment, advising supervisors on performance management, handling unemployment compensation correspondence, and organizing employee activities and in‑service training. The role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is conducted on-site.

Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field. Current SPHR/PHR certification highly preferred.
Experience : Minimum of five years in HR, with at least two years in a healthcare setting preferred. Must have supervisory or director‑level experience.
Additional Requirements
Preferred candidates have a good understanding of HR‑related Joint Commission standards and familiarity with the Joint Commission survey process. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, technical proficiency in HR systems (applicant tracking, HRIS, learning management systems, payroll systems, etc.), and working knowledge of iCIMS, Workday, KRONOS, ADP, and payroll processing systems. Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills and the ability to prepare HR reports are required.
Additional Skills
HR certification (through HRCI or SHRM) preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with knowledge of Federal and State employment laws and regulations related to HR
Experience administering wage/salary programs, benefits, workers’ compensation, recruiting/retention plans, training/staff development, and employee relations
Leads with organizational, supervisory, and administrative capabilities
Excellent computer skills and familiarity with internet‑based HR systems and email
Ability to work in a high‑volume, high‑stress environment
