Sr Manager Account Produce

A Sr Manager Account Produce is responsible for leading and profitably managing all aspects of their assigned territory or assigned accounts. They manage, direct, and coordinate all sales plans and programs and a team of sales resources. The Sr Manager Account will create partnering relationships of trust, integrity, customer satisfaction, and loyalty and ensure customer compliance. Manage goals and execute sales plans to increase sales, profit margin, and market share and minimize expenses. Creates and maintains business relationships within the customer base and develops new business alliances in target markets. Manages customer retention and addresses customer issues to the satisfaction of both parties. Ensures customer compliance with all contractual obligations. Provides leadership to the account management team ensuring they have the tools and support to effectively service customers.

Job Requirements:
Education/ Certifications:
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of sales experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/ Abilities:
Excellent communication, negotiation, preparation, and presentation skills.
Ability to lead without reporting authority.
Ability to interact at all levels of the business.
Able to manage and coordinate projects.
Aptitude for financial reporting.
Able to excel at customer service skills, problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Work Environment:
Remote Role:
This position is classified as remote where the associate will perform remote work from their primary residence. Remote associates are welcome to work from the office but are not required to do so. While remote associates are not required to work from an office on a regular basis, they may be required to come to the office or other UNFI locations for necessary business reasons or if directed to do so by their manager.
Travel (minor):
This position may require the associate to travel to company offices, distribution centers, or other locations for specific meetings or other business reasons.

Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Incumbents may use calculators, keyboards, telephones, and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday.
Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in the completion of job duties.
