Consilio's Direct Hire Division is seeking a Business Development Manager for an Am Law-ranked law firm client in Atlanta .

This leadership-level role will partner closely with attorneys and firm leadership to drive business development efforts, manage high-profile client programs, oversee market-facing initiatives, and support revenue growth across key practices and offices. This position will oversea BD for all of the practice groups in Atlanta office.

Responsibilities
Client Development & Strategic Support

Partner with attorneys to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Advise on client targeting, relationship expansion, and cross-selling initiatives.

Support the integration of lateral partners and attorney onboarding from a business development perspective.

Assist with RFPs, pitches, and other pursuit-related materials.

Events & Sponsorships

Lead planning and execution of client-facing programs, including executive dinners, CLEs, leadership forums, and signature firm events.

Manage sponsorship relationships and develop engagement strategies that maximize business development value.

Coordinate attendee outreach, follow-up activities, and ROI measurement.

Marketing Operations

Manage the Atlanta office marketing budget, including forecasting, expense tracking, and reporting.

Provide business development support to practice groups and attorneys across multiple initiatives.

Collaborate with internal marketing, communications, and leadership teams to execute strategic projects.

Rankings & Visibility

Oversee submissions for Chambers, Legal 500, Best Lawyers, and related industry recognitions.

Coordinate attorney nominations, reference collection, and submission materials.

Track market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to support growth strategies.

Special Initiatives

Support attorney coaching and client development programs.

Assist with annual partner meetings and other strategic firm events.

Help manage alumni engagement efforts to strengthen long-term firm relationships.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Advanced degree preferred.

5+ years of business development experience within a law firm; Am Law experience strongly preferred.

Experience supporting attorney growth initiatives, client programs, sponsorships, and rankings submissions.

Strong working knowledge of AI tools and emerging technologies relevant to business development and marketing.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and marketing technologies.

Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.

High level of professionalism and executive presence.

Occasional travel as needed.

Salary: $125,000–$164,000 annually
