The St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum seeks a Marketing Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating communications internally and externally to produce and distribute marketing materials. Project management experience is a must, and graphic design experience is a plus. Located on the campus of the Jewish Community Center in Creve Coeur, the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum is dedicated to using the history and lessons of the Holocaust to reject hatred, promote understanding, and inspire change. The Museum is a private, non‑profit 501(c)(3) institution. We offer a flexible work schedule and a collaborative team atmosphere. This role may be filled as full‑time or part‑time, depending on candidate availability and organizational needs.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Marketing Coordinator (MC) is the liaison between staff and contractors to coordinate design, produce and distribute marketing materials for printed and electronic ads, promotions, communication pieces, and program matters. The MC organizes and makes accessible all marketing assets.

Schedule
Full‑time or part‑time, depending on candidate availability and organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Brand Development

Monitor and steward consistency in visual and messaging identity across all platforms.

Execute changes in visuals and messaging as directed.

Campaigns & Content

Assist campaigns for major fundraising and community engagement as directed.

Organize production of brochures, digital assets, email marketing, and annual reports.

Digital Strategy & Web

Assemble, schedule, and distribute IMPACT newsletter and e‑blasts.

Monitor digital analytics and implement SEO and performance improvements as directed.

Assist and back up social media and internet as directed.

Collaboration & Project Management

Work cross‑departmentally to support Development, Events, and Education.

Serve as project manager for marketing deliverables and timelines.

Liaison with freelance designers, copywriters, or communications consultants as needed.

Media Relations & Publicity

Build and maintain relationships with our print and design vendors/contractors.

Organize and make accessible promotional material for print and electronic use.

Support general communications as directed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design or a related field.

Minimum 2 to 3 years of marketing/communications experience; nonprofit experience is a plus.

Project management experience is a must, and graphic design experience is a plus.

Proficiency in marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact), social media scheduling tools, and website CMS (e.g., WordPress).

Familiarity with graphic design applications: Canva, Adobe products, etc.

Strong project management skills.

Familiarity with Jewish culture, holidays, and community structure is a plus.
