Operations Technician I, II, III
Assist in maintaining equipment, supporting pipeline operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations.
Read and interpret drawings and technical schematics.
Inspect and supervise equipment to uphold operation/technical and governmental standards.
Conduct data analysis and collaborate with team members to resolve technical or operational problems.
Follow company policies and applicable operating and maintenance procedures.
Maintain general knowledge of site, location, equipment, and specific permits and compliance requirements.
Complete assigned reports, logs, and maintain accurate records of process operations and preventive maintenance on equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum three (3) years of demonstrated experience as an operations technician or in a similar role.
Associate degree or 2‑year technical degree preferred, with at least two (2) years of multifaceted operations technician experience in the oil and gas industry.
Strong organization, communication, and safety orientation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PC skills, and advanced knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers.
Valid State Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Physical & Environment Requirements
Work in extreme temperatures, loud noise, and enclosed spaces.
Carry or lift items up to 50lbs and team‑lift larger loads as needed.
Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat for extended periods.
Work at elevated levels using manlifts, ladders, scaffolding, or small towers with appropriate PPE.
Use hand tools.
Shift/Work Hours & Travel Requirements
Available for after‑hours work, on‑call rotations, nights, weekend shifts, and holidays.
May be required to work overtime, 10–12 hour shifts, and travel between Williams locations, occasionally staying overnight.

Demonstrate proficiency with technology and applications to improve operational efficiency.
