The Content Marketing Specialist plays a key role in bringing the company’s marketing strategy to life by planning, creating, and distributing engaging content across digital channels. This role is primarily responsible for supporting social media execution, developing and organizing marketing assets, maintaining content calendars, and ensuring that marketing materials are delivered on time and on-brand.
Working closely with the marketing team, this position helps transform ideas into compelling visual and written content that supports campaigns, thought leadership, product marketing, events, and customer engagement. While the primary focus is content execution and social media, this role also provides writing and communications support for marketing initiatives as needed.
Key Responsibilities Social Media Management Create, schedule, publish, and monitor content across the company’s social media platforms.
Develop engaging copy and visual assets that align with brand guidelines.
Maintain and manage the social media content calendar.
Monitor engagement, identify trends, and recommend opportunities to increase reach and engagement.
Support employee advocacy and executive social media initiatives.
Content Asset Development Use Canva to produce polished, on-brand marketing materials with light graphic design support.
Organize and maintain marketing asset libraries and templates.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure content is current, accurate, and aligned with campaign goals.
Content Planning & Marketing Support Assist in planning content calendars that support product launches, campaigns, webinars, events, PR, and thought leadership initiatives.
Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and customer success teams to gather content needs and execute deliverables.
Help repurpose long‑form content into blogs, social posts, email content, videos, and other digital assets.
Content Writing & Communications Assist with marketing communications, announcements, newsletters, and campaign messaging as needed.
Maintain a consistent brand voice across all marketing channels.
Project Coordination Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Coordinate timelines and deliverables with internal teams and external vendors when needed.
Help maintain content calendars and marketing project schedules.
Performance & Optimization Track social media and content performance metrics.
Provide recommendations for improving engagement and content effectiveness.
Stay current on social media trends, content best practices, and emerging marketing tools.
Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in content marketing, social media marketing, digital marketing, or a related role.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Experience managing business social media platforms.
Proficiency in Canva with the ability to create polished marketing assets.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Preferred Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign) is a plus.
Familiarity with social media management platforms (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.).
Knowledge of SEO and content marketing best practices.
Experience with CMS platforms, email marketing tools, and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot).
Basic understanding of analytics and performance reporting.

Contribute to a collaborative team by sharing ideas and process improvements, while working in a hybrid environment that requires being in the office 3 days a week. Regular attendance at in-office team meetings and training sessions is a component of the hybrid work model.
