Key responsibilities
Translate editorial reporting into compelling social content and design optimized visual packages for audience engagement
Create interactive editorial experiences and map-based storytelling using various design tools
Collaborate with the Social team on content planning and expand Yahoo's visual identity through scalable templates and workflows
Required qualifications
3+ years of applicable design and illustration experience
Strong portfolio showcasing design skills, particularly in social content and data visualization
Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
Familiarity with Ceros, Mapbox, and AI-powered creative tools
Passion for journalism and emerging media formats
