About the Role
The Master Control Operator supports all technical and operations workflows within the Broadcast Operations area, including the assembly and playout of live and non‑live networks. This operator is part of the Media Operations team, responsible for delivering a high‑quality viewer experience to millions of viewers across FOX networks, digital platforms, mobile applications, websites, and licensing partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support for quality control, processing, assembly, playout, and distribution activities for pre‑programmed and live content.
Play a key role in the technical workflows to support distribution across linear and OTT delivery.
Handle on‑air switching and run master control automation playlists in both multicast and live sports environments.
Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery teams.
Collaborate with Live Media and other Media Operations teams, stepping in to assist in additional areas as needed.
Work closely with all business units to provide world‑class customer service support.

Schedule & Availability
24/7/365 operations with overnight shifts, weekend and holiday coverage.
Work in an operations center environment with multiple monitors and low‑light conditions.
General Qualifications
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and make quick decisions.
Ability to communicate with your team and customers.
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s Degree (not required).
Knowledge of emerging technologies such as 4K HDR, HDR10+.
Familiarity with industry standards such as AMWA and SMPTE.
Benefits & Compensation
Pay rate: $28.75–$31.00 per hour, with final offer based on education, skills, experience, and location. Eligible for medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Union represented employees receive benefits per the collective bargaining agreement.
