AVP, Technical Product Lead

Role Summary
We are looking for a Technology Product Lead to lead the Specialty and Shared Services portfolio, primarily Secured Installment and secondary Select Pay, in a fast‑moving agile environment.

Responsibilities

Provide technical direction for the portfolio.

Own the entire product technology lifecycle.

Partner with Marketing to define product requirements and user stories.

Engage in agile product development processes with engineering, UX, and data science.

Drive cross‑functional collaboration, prioritization, and alignment.

Support Business Development with technical positioning in RFPs.

Lead matrixed technology teams through project plans, milestones, risk management, and contingency plans.

Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of IT experience, or high school diploma/GED and 9+ years of IT experience.

Experience in technical product management.

Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional teams.

Ability and flexibility to travel as required.

Desired Characteristics

Experience in credit card, consumer finance or financial services.

Experience in Secured Installment Loan industry.

Ability to manage complex initiatives in an Agile environment.

Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.

Strategic thinking and execution.

5+ years managing people and teams.

Project management skills.

Advanced problem‑solving and innovation.

P&L experience.

Current knowledge of financial services tech trends.

Proficient in Agile, Confluence, and Jira.

Compensation
Base salary range $90,000 – $155,000 USD, plus annual bonus potential. Salary adjusted by market in CA, NY Metro, and Seattle.
