About our client: You will be working for our client, a Miami-based paid media agency running paid search, paid social, and lead-generation campaigns for a roster of local and regional SMB clients across legal, healthcare, financial, and service verticals. Their video pipeline is AI-forward — most ad creative is produced through generative video, AI avatars, and AI voice, then finished and polished by hand. They move fast, test constantly, and hold a high bar for craft.

In your day-to-day, you will:
Produce and finish high-stakes AI-generated ad videos end to end — generation, editing, motion, sound, and polish
Push AI video capability forward: evaluate and test new tools, develop prompting techniques, and expand what the team can produce with generative video, AI avatars, and AI voice (e.g., ElevenLabs, voice cloning)
Catch and fix the artifacts AI introduces — unrealistic visuals, continuity breaks, robotic or inconsistent voice, timing drift — before anything reaches review
Own the quality bar: build repeatable QC checklists, templates, presets, and SOPs so polish is consistent and the team is faster
Nail the details AI output tends to get wrong: on-screen text accuracy and spelling, caption spacing, text alignment and stacking, VO-to-visual sync, and pacing
Cut strong hooks and tell a clear story — visuals that actually illustrate the voiceover, not just decorate it
Mentor and give structured feedback to a junior editor, leveling her up especially on AI workflow and self-QC
Partner with the Creative Director on creative direction and testing strategy
Skills you have:
Hands-on experience producing video with AI tools — generative video, AI avatars, AI voice/cloning — with a portfolio that shows it, plus a clear appetite to keep pushing this frontier (this is core to the role, not a bonus)
4–6+ years editing short-form video, with a reel that includes strong paid-social / direct-response ad work
Senior-level command of Premiere Pro and After Effects (real motion-graphics ability, not just cuts-and-captions)
Obsessive self-QC and attention to detail — you catch typos, spacing, alignment, and continuity errors yourself, every time
Strong ear for audio/voice quality and instinct for pacing, hooks, and retention in vertical short-form
Demonstrated ability to raise a team's quality through mentorship, feedback, templates, or SOPs
Systems thinker who makes work repeatable, not just one-off great
Reliable communication and EST-hours overlap
Skills that will make you stand out:
Spanish Proficiency — a major plus
Experience with a broad range of AI creative tools and a habit of staying current as they evolve
Working knowledge of Meta/TikTok ad specs and creative best practices
Understanding of ad performance metrics (hook rate, hold rate) and how editing choices move them
