About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director for Networks and Telecommunications to spearhead the design, modernization, and operation of a critical connectivity ecosystem. This role is pivotal, sitting at the crossroads of clinical care, advanced biomedical research, and academic experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering secure, resilient, and always-on connectivity across a diverse range of facilities, including hospitals, research labs, and academic campuses. Key responsibilities include defining and executing the enterprise networking and telecommunications strategy, overseeing the design and management of large-scale enterprise networks, and ensuring robust network security. The Executive Director will also lead initiatives to support business continuity, growth, and digital transformation, and will be accountable for the performance and reliability of connectivity services that directly impact student experience, patient safety, and research continuity.

Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise networking and telecommunications. The role requires deep knowledge of enterprise networking, network security, and voice/data technologies, as well as experience with DAS design and optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management, and the ability to lead a large, multi-disciplinary team. Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent are strongly preferred. The Executive Director will be expected to drive operational excellence, lead transformation and modernization initiatives, and ensure the organization's network and telecommunications infrastructure aligns with regulatory requirements and security frameworks.
