Choir Director

Covington Latin School is seeking a highly qualified, energetic, and passionate Choir Director for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and grow a vibrant student choir ministry rooted in the rich liturgical tradition of the Catholic Church.

Practice times are flexible; however, candidates must be available to direct the choir during the 8:15 a.m. Mass at Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption each Wednesday throughout the school year.

The ideal candidate will:

Plan and coordinate liturgical music for school Masses
Lead and accompany the choir during weekly liturgies
Recruit, inspire, and retain student choir members
Prepare worship aids for Masses and special liturgical celebrations
Be proficient in playing the organ in the Cathedral setting
Be available for occasional additional school events, including graduation and other special ceremonies

Qualified applicants should possess strong musical and organizational skills, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to fostering meaningful worship through sacred music.
