PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Assist in the direction of the instrumental music program.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in Music Education or Performance from an accredited college or university
Valid Texas teaching certificate recommended
Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of overall operations of an instrumental music program
Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of state, TMEA, and UIL policies governing band
Experience:

At least five (5) years demonstrating successful teaching in an ensemble setting.

SALARY:

Teacher Salary + Extra Days
