Regional Director, Oncology Sales – Head and Neck Cancer
The Regional Director, Oncology Sales – Head and Neck Cancer is responsible for building, leading, and developing a team of Clinical Oncology Specialists focused on Head and Neck cancers within a specified geography, selling Natera’s Signatera MRD Cancer test with a specific focus on Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Head & Neck Surgery, Pathologists, and other key stakeholders in the Head and Neck patient continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities
Hire, coach, and lead a team of 10 sales professionals by setting an example through business planning, core sales team collaboration, CRM utilization, and
field travel
to achieve Signatera for Head and Neck Cancer sales goals.
Educate and recruit Key Opinion Leaders in the treatment of Head and Neck Cancer, primarily in the academic setting, as well as in select community oncology targets.
Become an expert in Natera’s technology and service offerings, representing the company and its business interests at the highest levels with KOL Physicians, Academic/Community Medical Directors, and C‑Suite‑level targets.
Develop and execute plans to ensure the rapid distribution of all products.
Establish positive working relationships with all key customer segments (internal and external), educating and recruiting Key Opinion Leaders from the Oncology, Surgical, and Pathology medical communities.
Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and training of all H&N – Clinical Oncology Specialists (COS).
Allocate time, as defined with the Sr Director of H&N, to fieldwork with COS’ to support their professional development, provide direction, and offer feedback to maximize their potential.
Provide direction based on field input, market assessments, and trends to develop an area that consistently implements best practices.
Develop business plans based on sales goals, expectations, and available resources, including area‑specific strategies and tactics.
Design and implement regional and territory alignment to maximize ROI.
Attend local, regional, and national trade shows, meetings, and training sessions. Support sales professionals in career pathing by providing guidance and tools for career development.
Ensure all employees complete training related to HIPAA/PHI privacy, general policies and procedures, compliance, and security within 30 days of hire.
Support the full suite of Natera Oncology products as required.
Support Signatera and other oncology offerings as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences or a related field is required; MBA preferred.
Background in Radiation Oncology, Surgery, H&N and/or Lung Ca, medical, or biological sciences; clinical diagnostics preferred.
Minimum 10 years of successful sales experience, preferably in Oncology, Oncology Dx, Surgery or the diagnostic laboratory business, including at least 5 years of leadership experience in oncology or the diagnostic laboratory industry (preferred).
An equivalent combination of academic and professional experience will be considered.
Requires 75% travel.

Demonstrated ability as a sales executive to lead sales teams, with the capability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Successful senior management experience in leading and managing managers.
Proven track record of success in leading a sales team to develop new markets, launch new products, and drive rapid revenue growth.
Award‑winning management track record.
Market knowledge and experience in pathology, laboratory, and hematologic malignancies preferred.
Team‑oriented with excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
Excellent coach and coachable.
Strong initiative and self‑motivation.

Compensation & Total Rewards
The compensation package listed is for 1st year OTE, which is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. On‑target earnings (OTE) represent the total potential income an employee can earn by achieving 100% of their performance goals. It combines a base salary with commissions and serves as an estimated figure rather than a guaranteed amount, providing a guideline based on average performance outcomes.
