About the Position

Directs operational activities for national customer warehouse sites via partnerships with site general managers. Acts as a liaison between the organization and clients, manages complex customer relationships, and identifies value‑added services that match customer needs with solution selling. The position drives long‑range plans for customer sites to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations while maximizing profits.
Responsibilities

Identify new business opportunities and grow revenues and margins with existing customers.
Build strong relationships with customer key contacts through listening and understanding their environment.
Develop customer profiles with business issues, opportunities, information flow, competitor environment, review process, contracts, and other relevant data.
Present complete proposals and value solutions to customers.
Lead implementation of company programs.
Review tactical aspects of business profiles, indices, KPI results, and other data to up‑sell additional solutions.
Use Lean Six Sigma tools to make decisions and improve operational efficiency.
Coach and develop personnel in Kenco operations, emphasizing training and projects.
Require corrective action plans and accountability from the sites.
Establish measurements that positively impact safety, quality and financial performance.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; M.B.A. preferred.
10+ years of supply chain management experience.
Lean Six Sigma and/or Supply Chain certification or training preferred.
Previous experience within an FMCG environment with specific knowledge of AIB/SQF/FDA regulations.
Understanding of supply chain strategies.
Strong customer relationship skills; ability to balance customer expectations with corporate goals.
Strong problem‑solving ability, planning/organization skills, and decision‑making ability.
Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Interpersonal influence skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
Knowledge of HR cost control and growth.
Detailed knowledge of financial practices and accounting.
Ability to set policy and procedures.
Ability to lead others effectively using a team approach.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently.

Travel Requirements

The position requires approximately 75% travel; a passport is not required but is recommended.
