Leading digital inclusion efforts, the full-time salaried Director of Digital Accessibility will oversee a multidisciplinary team, develop and execute an enterprise-wide digital accessibility plan aligned with WCAG standards, and provide strategic guidance to ensure accessible digital environments across the university in a remote work setting.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement an enterprise-wide digital accessibility plan that aligns with WCAG standards
Provide guidance and education on best practices in digital accessibility to institutional stakeholders
Oversee the Accessible Digital Review process and refine the Assistive Technology process to ensure equitable access
Required qualifications
7+ years of experience in digital accessibility, inclusive design, or managing accessible digital products and services
3+ years of experience leading a team within a matrixed organization
Bachelor's degree in Higher Education, Disability Services, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field
Knowledge of current WCAG guidelines and universal/accessible design principles
Experience presenting technical information to executive-level stakeholders in a clear and persuasive manner
