Gensler's Brand Team in Dallas is seeking an exceptionally talented and passionate Brand Designer to join our team of design thinkers and doers who specialize in telling stories and creating experiences within the built environment. As an experience designer at Gensler, you will help our clients communicate their stories across diverse media channels, with a focus on spatial design.
Your Role
This position focuses on graphic design and illustration. Proficiency in motion graphics (e.g., Adobe After Effects) or 3D visualization, and signage technical knowledge, is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate is a strong 2D and 3D designer capable of generating multiple initial concepts quickly and developing them into viable solutions. They will manage design development through documentation and coordination, integrating concepts into built environments, and coordinating with multiple internal project teams and clients across workplace, hospitality, healthcare, and mixed‑use projects.
What You Will Do
Design branded environments, including brand identity, naming strategies, environmental graphics, signage, and digital integration
Manage own projects within a wider team, ensuring client needs are met on time and within budget
Assist the Design Director in winning work, creating key pitches, and building client relationships
Compose design presentations that are both verbally and visually compelling
Interface with multiple internal design practices, including architecture, interior design, strategy, and master planning
Multitask across various projects with tight deadlines, paying careful attention to detail
Update and reinvent static design assets into fresh animations
Create dynamic, organic 2D, 3D, technically accurate animated content for external video
Create lower‑thirds, transitions, and other dynamic content
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, environmental graphic design, information design, communication design, or a similar field
0‑5 years of experience after graduation in design or a related field
Strong illustration, typography, composition, and information design skills across multiple project types such as print communications or digital tools (e.g., websites, apps)
Experience designing for the built environment and understanding of architectural scales, sections, plans, and elevations is a plus
Ability to visualize ideas in two and three dimensions
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills that work well in an interdisciplinary, fast‑paced environment
Strong presentation skills with an ability to communicate the "why" behind design decisions
Software competency: Adobe Creative Suite with CAD tools and After Effects
Experience with 3D modeling programs such as SketchUp or Revit is a strong advantage
Impressive illustration skills are a huge plus
Ability to design and deliver websites is a plus, but not required

This is an in‑person position. The successful candidate is expected to work from the Dallas office.
