Job Title Associate Commerce Editor, Byrdie
Responsibilities Write, edit, and publish new commerce content using competitor analysis, marketplace knowledge, and internal Lab and home testing data.
Update existing lists and create new content while maintaining high‑quality standards.
Make regular updates to content based on out‑of‑stock status, traffic, and revenue performance.
Assist in testing processes—evaluate products at home, attend lab testing days, and gather insights from testers or community members.
Research and write supplemental content such as buying guides, pros/cons lists, and “what to look for” articles; conduct interviews for original quotes that support the commerce content funnel.
Report revenue numbers to the team and stakeholders.
Participate in editorial meetings and pitch new content ideas.
Stay current on trends and new products.
Track and use performance data to adjust editorial strategy and programming efforts.
Collaborate with editorial counterparts to curate and promote best content via newsletters, site landing pages, and social platforms.
Communicate effectively throughout the organization on goals and objectives.
Qualifications 3+ years of writing or editing experience at an online publisher, ideally in beauty and fashion.
Product enthusiast who spends time shopping and obsessing over purchases.
Passionate about beauty and fashion.
Detail‑oriented, deadline‑focused with strong editing, writing, and web content skills.
Strong copywriter capable of engaging headlines and blurbs while maintaining Byrdie voice, values, style, and audience focus.
Proven aptitude for communicating and collaborating with remote editorial workers and in‑house team members.
Self‑starter eager to work for a growing company.
College degree required.

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $62,400 – $75,000. Other compensation may include bonuses and long‑term incentives.
