About the Role
You will support AI-assisted dubbing efforts as part of the Prime Video Localization Enablement & Accessibility Program (LEAP). In this role, you will bring craft-level expertise to the production of dubbed titles, ensuring AI-assisted solutions preserve emotional nuance, cultural authenticity, and artistic intent. You will work autonomously, align on strategic priorities, and guide creative decisions while upholding quality standards across the LEAP dubbing portfolio. You will partner with diverse creative disciplines, AI engineers, and localization specialists to develop solutions that serve the broader creative strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead creative decisions for dubbed titles: review dialogues for emotional nuance, tone, and cultural context; interpret quality data and audience research to make tactical decisions.
Collaborate across diverse creative disciplines: partner daily with AI engineers, localization experts, and quality teams; prioritize title-level decisions and direct creative output of internal operators and external partners.
Contribute to quality standards & process improvement: help ensure AI-assisted dubbing meets Prime Video's customer quality benchmarks through structured testing and feedback loops; contribute to SOP development; identify opportunities for repeatable mechanisms to improve efficiency and consistency.
Influence across teams & external partners: align dubbing execution with viewer experience goals; contribute to presentations and deliver content to external stakeholders; guide breakout groups in brainstorm sessions; mentor junior creative team members and support hiring, onboarding, and training.
Champion responsible AI in creative contexts: promote responsible use of AI technology in localization, ensuring accessibility while preserving artistic integrity; uphold a human‑centered approach to generative AI.
Basic Qualifications
Experience with a variety of digital media workflows and post production.
5+ years of relevant experience in dubbing direction, audio or picture post‑production, creative localization, or a related storytelling‑driven technical discipline.
Proficiency in dialogue adaptation, lip‑sync assessment, performance evaluation, and fundamental dialogue mixing.
Experience leading projects, workstreams, or small teams.
Demonstrated experience in Adobe Premiere, Avid, DaVinci, Pro Tools, Audition, or similar.
Fluent in English and Latin American Spanish (ES‑419) with demonstrated production or localization experience in both languages.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience communicating and delivering presentations to customers, stakeholders, and/or teammates.
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams (product, engineering, science) to develop insights that drive creative executions.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain quality standards across large volumes of content.
Knowledge of AI/ML media tools, voice synthesis technologies, or dubbing production workflows.
Experience synthesizing customer research and/or data to support tactical creative decisions.
Experience managing multiple creative projects and meeting aggressive deadlines.
Salary & Benefits
USA, CA, Culver City - 120,500.00 - 163,000.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
