Short-Form Video Editor

A fast-growing skincare eCommerce brand is looking for a creative, data-driven Short-Form Video Editor to transform existing social content, UGC, livestream footage, and raw assets into high-converting promotional videos. Ideal candidates have experience creating social-first content for beauty, lifestyle, consumer, or DTC brands and understand how to balance brand storytelling with conversion-focused creative. Pay Range $40-$55/hr Location: Carson (on-site as needed for meetings) Duration: 4-5 Months (potential to extend or convert) Start Date: ASAP What You'll Do
Edit and repurpose UGC, influencer content, raw footage, and organic social posts into high-converting short-form videos.
Develop thumb-stopping content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, paid social ads, and product launch campaigns.
Use compelling hooks, dynamic captions, trending formats, and creative storytelling techniques to drive engagement and sales.
Partner with marketing and growth teams to test creative variations, optimize performance, and support customer acquisition goals.
What We're Looking For
2+ years of short-form video editing experience for DTC brands, eCommerce companies, or eCommerce-focused agencies.
A portfolio or reel featuring performance-driven social content, UGC edits, product promotions, or paid social ads.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut Desktop, or Final Cut Pro.
Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Meta, and evolving social media trends.
Knowledge of eCommerce hook rates, consumer psychology, audience retention, and conversion-focused storytelling.
Ability to work quickly, test multiple creative approaches, and incorporate performance insights into future edits.
