Master Control Operator
Coordinate live and recorded programming for broadcast
Maintain on-air operation to include running critical spots with network programming
Monitor multiple channels to ensure regulatory compliance and quality signals
Monitor and prep content for all national affiliate stations in the Network Operations Center
Learn and perform newly introduced additional job requirements
Follow FCC monitoring and EAS procedures
Observe transmitters and take readings
Maintain program and transmitter logs
Execute, edit, update, and append playlists
Acquire content from various distributors
Report equipment issues and transmission discrepancies
Experience Requirements
Must have computer and software experience
Prior exposure to television station operations and newscast production a plus
Related military experience will be considered
Qualifications
Computer literacy is mandatory
Attention to detail is imperative
Applicant must be able to multi-task
Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills
Operational knowledge and experience with master control activities and functions
Ability to learn specialized software applications
Aptitude for operating electronic equipment for broadcast and production requirements
Education
Technical school or completion of college-level technical courses a plus
Work Schedule
Master Control works a 4‑day/10‑hour work schedule. Must agree to the alternative workweek schedule to be considered for this position.
Broadcast Video Editor
Primary responsibilities will be to creatively edit programs and ensure timely delivery of finished episodes that align with the ministry goals, brand voice, and creative vision for the series. Seeking a creative editor who is collaborative, passionate, deadline‑driven, organized, and detail‑obsessed.
Qualifications / Requirements
4-6 years of professional video editing experience
Expert working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
Passion for creating news content and staying informed on news topics
Experience with layering effects and graphics
Expert time management skills to complete multiple video packages under deadline pressure
Meticulous attention to quality, detail, and project organization
Great working knowledge of finishing, formats, frame rates and codecs
Strong grammar and spelling competency
Education
Bachelor's Degree with a major in Television or Film production or 5+ years related experience (e.g., a television network, network affiliate, major film studio, production company or advertising agency) and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Solid technical background in post‑production is an absolute requirement. Must have thorough knowledge of linear and nonlinear editing techniques, audio pre‑lay and mixing methodologies and media file formats, animated graphics, other miscellaneous equipment used in the day‑to‑day post‑production process
A detailed understanding of file‑based post‑production workflows is required
