Footwear Designer I
This role will focus on the Performance Run and Training footwear lines, supporting creativity and innovation in collaboration with Under Armour’s latest technologies and design teams.
Your Impact

Help strengthen the UA footwear product engine from the design side, partnering directly with design leaders and teammates.
Partner with design leadership to drive concepts for Performance Run footwear.
Collaborate inclusively with Marketing and Development teams to meet project objectives.
Lead creation of individual footwear projects and milestone deliverables.
Develop and execute clear and detailed sketches, renderings and technical drawings.
Present design project work within individual project teams, and at category design checkpoints.
Qualifications

BA, BFA or BS in Industrial Design not required.
1+ year experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other products (including internships or school projects).
Knowledge of form, color, materials, and human factors that elevate the consumer experience.
Proficient Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
Working knowledge of 3D software is a plus.
Ability to create accurate 2D technical drawings.
Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills.
Introductory knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
Can generate a broad range of concepts and solutions for each project.
Hand prototyping skills are a plus.
Experienced with presentation programs: Keynote, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
Workplace Location

Location: Must reside within commuting distance of our Baltimore, MD office.
Work Schedule: Hybrid, requiring 4 days in-office per week.
Travel: 5%

Base Compensation

$65,000.00–$90,000.00 USD
Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package. Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time based on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
