Associate Video Editor

About the Role

Talarico for Texas is building a people-powered movement to take back power for working Texans. We are seeking a full-time Associate Video Editor to join our communications team and support the creation of our digital video assets.

Responsibilities
Work with the Video Editor and high-level communications staffers to make videos that are wide-reaching, compelling, and on-message
Work with Campaign Photographer to review, edit, and deliver polished, color corrected photography
Collaborate with colleagues to create shotlists, storyboard video ideas, and brainstorm new solutions to everyday video-related challenges
Deliver finished, color-corrected, and captioned videos in a timely manner in accordance with internal deadlines
Requirements

Qualifications

Extensive experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Lightroom
Strong drive to learn and quick to adapt to new tools and technologies
Exceptional editorial judgment and an understanding of the modern media landscape, particularly social media platforms with vertical video
Robust interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize work across different projects on a tight schedule
Willingness to work some nights and weekends as required
No experience in politics required
