Overview The UMBC Athletics department is a motivated and energetic team member who will be responsible for all phases of UMBC Athletics ticketing and a vital member of the marketing and ticketing operation for the department. The ideal candidate will fit into a group responsible for marketing, ticketing, and external operations. Additionally, this position is responsible for generating new business revenue through group ticket sales and cultivating relationships with all constituent groups including season ticket holders, local youth groups and organizations. Responsibilities include oversight of day-to-day ticketing operations, cultivating relationships with current and prospective season ticket holders, creating new revenue through group partnerships and special ticket packages, and contributing to the development and execution of marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
Season ticket sales, corporate packages, partial ticket plans, group tickets, and individual game tickets. Pricing, planning, etc.
Manage game day ticketing duties; staff and supervise each event with appropriate box office personnel.
Oversee home M/W soccer, M/W lacrosse, and M/W basketball games, performing various ticket sales and service duties while ensuring staff execution of all necessary duties.
Collaborate with Athletics Administration to enhance outbound ticket sales strategy and actively perform season ticket sales outreach.
Manage all materials related to season ticket and group ticket packages including, but not limited to: assisting with the design, production, and distribution of season ticket and group ticket information packets.
Oversee all communications and outreach surrounding group ticket sales and individualized group outreach in conjunction with marketing team.
Compile and track all ticketing financial data including ticket revenue, attendance, and game settlements.
Ensure the control and distribution of all tickets in accordance with established policies and comply to NCAA regulations.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree
One year of experience in ticket sales, or marketing & promotions or related field.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, customer service and problem-solving skills.
Creative and well-versed in ways to increase athletics ticketing revenue.
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in basic computer software.
Preferred Qualifications
Master\'s degree preferred.

Salary
Salary: $55,000 to $62,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
