Nexstar Broadcasting is hiring: Anchor/Multi-Media Journalist in Sacramento

Anchor / Multi-Media Journalist – KTXL FOX40 (Sacramento, CA) Anchor newscasts as assigned and create original content for the CTV app. Serve as a dynamic anchor for both broadcast and digital products, while also reporting in the field when not at the desk. Deliver breaking news, enterprise reporting, and storytelling that makes an impact.
Anchor newscasts as assigned.
Write anchor/reporter packages when needed.
Co‑produce a digital newscast.
Assist in writing, copy‑editing, researching, and coordinating news content.
Act as a field reporter as assigned.
Participate in promotional activities, including public appearances.
Requirements & Skills Minimum 2years TV news reporting experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or a related field.
Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to ad‑lib when required.
Flexibility to work any shift.
Strong network of sources and commitment to original journalism.
Compensation: $75,000+ commensurate with experience and skill level.
