We are seeking a creative, mission‑driven Marketing Manager to elevate brand awareness and promote our programs through compelling storytelling, communications, and design. This hands‑on role involves creating and managing content across a wide range of programs and audiences, shaping MCC’s brand identity across digital and print channels, and balancing creativity with data‑informed decision making.

Responsibilities

Content and Communications

Create and execute engaging multi‑channel marketing campaigns across social media, web, email, and print to promote MCC’s programs.
Draft and edit engaging marketing content for newsletters, emails, website copy, social media, brochures, and other materials that reflect MCC’s mission.
Manage and maintain a consistent brand voice and digital identity across all MCC platforms.
Update and manage website content (WordPress) including program and event pages.
Collaborate with Educational Alliance’s graphic designer to develop visual assets such as flyers, social graphics, and email templates.
Track and analyze campaign performance (engagement, conversions, reach) and use insights to optimize content, improve targeting, and inform future campaigns.
Use audience insights and performance data to recommend improvements to messaging, content strategy, and campaign approach.
Partner with MCC leadership and EA’s Director of Communications to refine marketing strategies based on program goals and organizational priorities.
Cultivate relationships with community partners, external stakeholders, and MCC staff to ensure successful execution of marketing campaigns.
Support EA’s Director of Communications on broader communications efforts to increase press coverage and public awareness.

Project Management and Coordination

Coordinate production of MCC print and digital collateral with external vendors as needed.
Manage marketing calendars, timelines, and deliverables across multiple programs.
Maintain organized marketing assets, templates, and brand resources in collaboration with EA’s graphic designer.
Ensure timely promotion of MCC programs and events across all relevant channels.
Oversee marketing budget, track expenses, and ensure cost‑effective execution.
Guide program teams in best practices for marketing, including social media, newsletters, and collateral development.
Supervise interns and/or consultants when applicable.
Coordinate with EA and Communications/Marketing colleagues to ensure collaboration across the broader organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience). Master’s degree is a plus.
3‑5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
Experience executing successful multi‑channel marketing campaigns.
Strong storytelling and content creation skills across digital platforms, translating ideas into clear, visually engaging materials.
A strong visual sensibility and attention to detail in both design and messaging.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and authentically to different audiences.
Familiarity with evolving digital marketing trends, including social media, AI tools, and paid media.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with content creation and project management tools such as Sprout Social and Asana.
Basic photography, video editing, and/or motion graphics experience.
Comfort working with marketing data and metrics to improve campaign performances (advanced analytics expertise not required).
Data‑driven mindset with experience using data and audience insights to inform marketing decisions.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and build strong relationships in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.
Experience working in a nonprofit or community‑based organization.
Interest in community engagement, storytelling, or building partnerships.
Familiarity with web design and SEO.
