Junior Video Editor

As a Junior Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and educational video content for our online training courses. You will work closely with our instructional designers and subject matter experts to understand the training objectives and develop creative ways to present the information through video.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit raw footage into high-quality, polished videos that adhere to brand guidelines and instructional design principles
Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to understand training objectives and translate them into effective video content
Use industry-standard software to create motion graphics, animations, and other visual elements to enhance the videos
Ensure that all videos are properly formatted and optimized for online delivery
Manage video assets and maintain an organized library for easy access and retrieval
Continuously research and implement new video editing techniques and technologies to improve the quality and efficiency of our video production process
Work with the marketing team to create promotional videos and other video content for social media and other platforms
Assist with recording and editing live events and webinars, as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in film, video production, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in video editing, preferably in an educational or training environment
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer
Strong understanding of video production techniques, including lighting, sound, and camera operation
Experience with motion graphics and animation software, such as Adobe After Effects, is a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in video quality and style
Passion for creating visually compelling and educational videos
Knowledge of emergency response and healthcare industry is a plus, but not required
