Programming Assistant - Podcasts

Our client, a global media and entertainment company, is looking for someone to join their team as a Programming Assistant - Podcasts.
This is a W2 contract budgeted until May 9, 2027
The team is looking for someone to support the publishing, distribution, and growth of a premier podcast portfolio across platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in digital media, content publishing, or production coordination who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll work across multiple teams to ensure podcast content is published accurately, optimized for engagement, and delivered seamlessly to audiences.
What You Will Be Doing

Upload and publish full podcast episodes across platforms.
Create and publish podcast clips, VOD content, and vertical video assets.
Manage metadata, thumbnails, and content within content management systems (CMS).
Support web publishing efforts and organize digital media assets.
Assist with light video editing and thumbnail creation using Adobe reative Suite (Photoshop and Premiere Pro).
Collaborate with producers, programming, marketing, editorial, product, and sales teams to ensure smooth publishing workflows.
Monitor content performance and communicate insights to internal stakeholders.
Help launch new podcast show pages and playlists through backend publishing tools.
Troubleshoot publishing issues and proactively resolve content or workflow challenges.
Support multiple stakeholders while adapting to evolving processes and priorities.
Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience in digital media, content publishing, or production support.
Experience as a Production Assistant or in a similar digital content role.
Familiarity with web publishing platforms and content management systems (CMS).
Experience publishing video content on platforms such as YouTube, including metadata management.
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro for basic editing and thumbnail creation.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Ability to troubleshoot issues, accept feedback, and make timely corrections.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented corporate environment
