Job Summary:
As a key member of the CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center (CU AHWC) team, the Communication Professional is responsible for coordinating the center’s social media platforms, website, digital advertising and content creation efforts, under the direction of the Director of Finance and Administration. This individual supports all departments within CU AHWC and is responsible for ensuring that all digital efforts are fully integrated, with an emphasis on supporting both departmental and center-wide goals. The ideal candidate has a broad range of marketing and communications experience with strong storytelling, creativity, design aesthetics and technical expertise.
Evening and weekend work may be required in this position for social media monitoring; responding to messages posts and reviews; facility issues/crisis management; and attending various events.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media
Manage and execute social media strategy, including benchmarking and analysis of campaigns for center accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and others.
Assist with paid ads for research and business lines and ensure invoices are paid and allocated appropriately.
Maintain social media editorial/content calendars.
Monitor all digital engagement, relevant social media accounts, comments, reviews and direct messages. Respond in a timely and professional manner.
Stay up to date on current trends, best practices and new technologies.
Website
Manage and update existing content on the center’s various websites in WordPress and Unbounce, including department, program and campaign landing pages; create new pages as needed.
Analyze site performance across key metrics and perform SEO optimization.
Update Hubspot with news articles and ensure all pages are linked appropriately across platforms
Assist HR Coordinator with updating job descriptions on the website
Maintain updated Intranet resources for faculty and staff
Digital Advertising
Execute, monitor, and analyze paid digital advertising strategy on Facebook, Instagram, Google and others to drive lead generation and brand awareness for the center and various programs and services.
Track effectiveness of content and campaigns. Make recommendations for improvement.
Manage all center marketing email boxes and info forms from website and forward inquiries to individuals and business units as needed
Maintain Eventbrite and/or Cvent pages for center happenings and events and provide business managers with resources for their events and classes.
Learn and manage Salesforce lists to email listserv’s regarding events for students, faculty, and staff.
Content Creation
Produce, edit, and publish original content for different audiences, including graphics, video and text, for use on social media, websites, newsletters and other communications ensuring high-quality digital content reflects the brand standards of the University and Center.
Proactively work with each department and subject matter experts to generate content that is compelling, accurate and consistent with the center’s messaging and brand standards, while driving designated KPIs.
Develop and utilize relationships with University and campus marketing teams and leverage these to more broadly distribute stories and articles from the center.
Center Support
Order and manage imprinted items (swag) and ensure appropriate center and University logos are used.
Ensure proper compliance with University brand standards
Ensure all digital content meets accessibility requirements and laws, and University standards.
Maintain and manage all usernames and passwords for marketing and communications, including website domains, GoDaddy, social media, Eventbrite, and other platforms utilized by the center.
Ensure representation and presence at campus events such as Block Party and Earth Day, and others as assigned by the Center Director and DFA.
Ensure all licenses such as Salesforce, are updated and active.
Ensure all digital content meets accessibility requirements and laws, and University standards.
Work Location
Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3-4 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, design or directly related field from an accredited university.
One (1) year of professional experience in digital media, website and social media management.
One (1) year of professional graphic design, photography and video production/editing experience.
A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of application.
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of professional experience in marketing including social media management, website management, copywriting, and paid digital advertising.
2 years of professional experience with social/digital content creation and optimization, paid advertising and digital management tools, including SproutSocial (or other social media planning tool)
2 years of professional experience with Facebook Business Suite, Google Analytics and Adwords.
2 years of professional experience using Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.

Anticipated Pay Range
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $50,185 - $67,248. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
