Outlook Therapeutics (Nasdaq: OTLK) is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company redefining the standard of care in retinal disease. Our lead product is the first ophthalmic formulation of its molecule to receive Marketing Authorization from the European Commission and the UK MHRA for the treatment of wet age‑related macular degeneration (wet AMD), and is now launching across Germany, Austria, and the UK. In the United States, where the product is investigational, we recently won our FDA appeal and resubmitted our Biologics License Application, putting us on a potential path to becoming the first FDA‑approved ophthalmic bevacizumab. Driven by the stories of the patients we serve, we are united with the vision‑care community around a single goal: a future where everyone with retinal disease can envision a brighter world.
The Opportunity
This is a rare ground‑floor moment at a company hitting its commercial inflection point. As a lean, fast‑moving organization, we offer scope and ownership that larger companies can’t: your work is visible, your decisions matter, and you’ll help build the function rather than simply maintain it. You’ll partner directly with senior leadership and see a clear line between what you do and patients gaining access to a new treatment option.
In this role, you own the enablement engine behind our field organization — arming Key Account Managers, Business Engagement Managers, and Field Reimbursement Managers with the tools, insights, and strategic innovation that turn launch potential into unit growth and patient access. You are the connective tissue between commercial strategy and field execution at the most consequential moment in the company’s history.
What You’ll Do
Field Enablement & Execution
Provide field teams with the tools that raise customer engagement and sharpen field execution for launch success across the Key Account Manager (KAM), Business Engagement Manager (BEM), and Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) roles.
Translate commercial strategy into practical, field‑ready resources that accelerate adoption and strengthen customer relationships.
Strategic Innovation
Identify and drive strategic innovation tools that increase unit growth, accelerate patient switch, and support the payer and HEOR strategies used by field‑facing resources.
Pressure‑test emerging tools and approaches, scaling what moves the needle and retiring what doesn’t.
Buy/Bill & Field Force Effectiveness
Create retina buy/bill insights that drive field force effectiveness (FFE) initiatives and inform how the field engages accounts.
Convert account‑level and reimbursement data into actionable guidance that improves field productivity and targeting.
Market Opportunity & Territory Optimization
Identify new market opportunities across white space, territory optimization, and optimal staffing within the KAM and BEM footprint.
Recommend coverage and deployment models that maximize reach and return as the commercial organization scales.
Launch Readiness
Lead special projects, as assigned, that elevate launch readiness for our lead product.
What You’ll Bring
Required
Bachelor’s degree; 10+ years in biopharmaceutical commercial operations, sales, or field enablement, including buy‑and‑bill / physician‑administered products.
Demonstrated experience building field‑facing tools and driving field force effectiveness in a launch or pre‑launch environment.
Strong command of retina or specialty buy/bill dynamics, reimbursement, and payer/HEOR considerations.
Proven ability to translate data and market insight into territory design, deployment, and targeting decisions.
Executive‑level communication and cross‑functional influence across commercial, market access, and field leadership.
Preferred
Experience in retina, ophthalmology, or another specialty biologics market.
Familiarity with FFE analytics, CRM/field‑suite tooling, and incentive or deployment modeling.
What We Offer
Competitive base salary and annual performance bonus — so you share in the value you help create
Generous paid time off and company holidays
Flexible work environment — balance remote work with regular in‑person collaboration; in‑office time is used for planning, workshops, and faster decisions
401(k) with company match
Paid parental leave
Travel support for team onsites, launches, and field work
A high‑trust, low‑bureaucracy culture with direct access to leadership and real room to grow
Mission‑driven work that helps preserve sight for patients who are counting on it
Compensation
In keeping with our commitment to pay transparency, the good‑faith base salary range for this role is $205,000 – $250,000, with an annual target bonus of 20% and eligibility for a meaningful equity grant. Final compensation reflects experience, skills, and location.
