Private Client Relationship Manager

Role Summary: The Private Client Relationship Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day management of the advisor’s practice to ensure execution of sales and service goals and to keep the advisor and practice in motion. This associate provides subject‑matter expertise to offer solutions to complex client matters and provides oversight of Client Service Associates (CSA) and other practice support staff to anticipate, facilitate, and advance client servicing, prospecting, and sales efforts for the practice(s) they support.
Chief Responsibilities

Deliver impeccable service to clients, prospects, and centers of influence and ensure service plans are established and achieved.
Focus on growing share of wallet for existing clients and retention.
Establish the team’s efficient and consistent operating norms, commitments, role clarity, communication protocols, organizational methods, and succession/contingency planning.
Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement.
Design and execute the value proposition for the practice, including the ideal client and target market.
Co‑build and execute an actionable Business Plan to drive growth in the target market with Private Wealth Advisor (PWA); leverage data to track and report on the team’s progress toward sales and service goals and KPIs.
Partner with Marketing to uncover prospective client opportunities, organize and follow‑up with leads (e.g., digital lead generation).
Review practice metrics for efficiency and measurement of sales success.
Proactively manage client relationships, including existing clients, prospects, and COIs.
Resolve complex client issues.
Build rapport with internal and external contacts.
Anticipate, execute, and prioritize activities from prospects, centers of influence, and clients to ensure successful execution.
Manage regular practice meetings to discuss business health and progress toward goals, including business‑planning retreats and pipeline management.
Act as the connection between PWA, CSA, and partners, ensuring open communication and aligned priorities.
Facilitate exercises that deepen trust and synergy across the team.
Drive efficient execution of tasks across the organization.
Prepare and deliver local Wealth Strategy Analyses and asset‑allocation recommendations to PWA, clients, and prospects.
Participate in or lead projects related to practice priorities.
Exercise dotted‑line supervision of the practice’s CSA.
Provide telephone and email coverage.
Perform additional responsibilities as designed.

Series65 must be obtained in accordance with the offer letter; CFP preferred.
Core Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; Graduate degree preferred.
Working Conditions

Employees in the financial services industry generally meet the duties requirements for the administrative exemption and are not entitled to overtime pay if their duties include collecting and analyzing information regarding the customer’s income, assets, investments or debts; determining which financial products best meet the customer’s needs and financial circumstances; advising the customer regarding the advantages and disadvantages of different financial products; and marketing, servicing or promoting the employer’s financial products. However, an employee whose primary duty is selling financial products does not qualify for the administrative exemption. Occasional travel required. Position co‑located with the practice.
Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary Range (New York) : $135,000 – $180,000
Eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, Capital’s annual profitability bonus, and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of eligible earnings.
