The Sioux City Symphony Orchestra is looking for a Principal Trumpet for a tenure track position. The position currently offers compensation of $130.20 per service, along with a lodging stipend of up to $85.00 per night and travel reimbursement of $0.37 per mile for distances exceeding 16 miles, capped at 600 miles per round trip. There are 34 services tentatively scheduled for the 2026-2027 season.Auditions are set for September 16 and 17, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. Interested musicians should submit a one-page resume along with a refundable deposit of $50, which can be paid by check to the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra.
