Your Impact
The Marketing Specialist keeps the marketing engine running day-to-day, turning strategic priorities into scheduled, assigned, and tracked action. This role owns the tactical layer of marketing execution: calendar and task management, proofing, shoot logistics, and day-to-day coordination with other departments like Sales, B2B, and Product. This role reports directly to the Director of Marketing and works closely with the Design Manager, Graphic Designers, and Social Media & Influencer Specialist to keep campaigns, content, and shoots moving on schedule and error-free.

What You’ll Do
Marketing Calendar & Task Management

Turn marketing initiatives and priorities into actionable tasks, assigning owners, and due dates on the marketing calendar

Maintain day-to-day accuracy of the marketing calendar: creating and assigning tasks, adjusting due dates as priorities shift, and communicating changes to affected team members

Track down information, assets, or approvals designers need to complete assigned work

Flag scheduling conflicts or at-risk deadlines before they become problems

Proofing & Quality Control

Proof marketing materials such as email, SMS, paid media, design work, and web content, for spelling, grammar, consistency, and factual accuracy before final approval

Check all links across email, SMS, paid media, and digital assets to confirm they're correct and functional before work goes live

Maintain a consistent proofing process to catch recurring error types before they ship

Shoot Production & Logistics

Work directly with the Director of Marketing and Social Media Specialist to coordinate shoot logistics such as location, date, and time

Work with the Social Media Specialst to Secure talent and photographers/videographers, whether sourcing through the existing network or sourcing new talent as needed

Take shot lists and product lists to check and prepare physical inventory to ensure the needed product is available, staged, and ready to go on shoot day

Attend shoots as needed to serve as an extra hand and represent product knowledge on set

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with the Design Manager and Graphic Designers to keep design tasks unblocked and moving on schedule

Serve as the day‑to‑day point of coordination across the marketing team

Serve as the go‑to point of coordination with other teams across the business, like Sales, B2B, and Product, for tasks needed from marketing

What You’ve Accomplished

1–3 years of experience in marketing coordination, production/traffic management, project support, or a similar tactical execution role

Excellent organizational skills; comfortable managing multiple deadlines and moving pieces at once

Sharp eye for detail, with strong spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills

Experience coordinating logistics such as locations, schedules, vendors, or talent

Clear, proactive communicator who follows up without being asked

Preferred

Experience in outdoor, lifestyle, or consumer product brands

Familiarity with project or task management tools (Asana, Monday, ClickUp, or similar)

Experience on set for photo or video production
