Karamu House seeks a full-time Sales & Booking Manager to fulfill growth goals in membership, ticket sales, rentals, and sponsorships. Reports to the Chief Development Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively solicit new and renewal business to achieve 80% capacity for productions and events
Build relationships with community organizations and corporations to meet membership goals
Negotiate and close special event sales
Manage the facilities schedule and event calendar
Coordinate with the Marketing & Events Manager on box office and marketing alignment
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or related field required
5–7 years experience in sales or related field
$60,000–$70,000/year.
