Section Violin

The Eugene Symphony is seeking musicians for five core complement section violin positions, which include three first violin and two second violin roles. Auditions will take place on September 14 at Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon. Interested candidates must complete an online application form and submit a PDF of their resume along with a $50 deposit. The deposit is refundable on the day of the audition, but will be forfeited for cancellations made within seven days of the audition date.Candidates should ensure that their applications and deposits are submitted by August 14. The service guarantee for core complement members for the 2026/27 season is 66 services, while full complement members are guaranteed 22 services for the full season. The service guarantee for successful candidates will be adjusted based on their start date. For the 2026/27 season, the pay rate for section musicians is $155.42 per service.
