About The Role
We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Copywriter to join our growing team and help shape the voice of a contemporary, science-backed skincare brand. This role will be responsible for translating clinical innovation, ingredient science, and product efficacy into compelling, consumer-facing narratives that drive engagement, education, and conversion across all channels.

The ideal candidate possesses a rare combination of creative storytelling and scientific curiosity—someone equally comfortable writing a breakthrough product launch campaign as they are crafting a high-performing product detail page. They understand how to elevate complex skincare science into clear, persuasive language while maintaining a premium, sophisticated brand voice. Reporting to the Art Director, this role will partner closely with Brand Marketing, Product Development, E-Commerce, CRM, Social, and Design teams to ensure consistency and excellence across every customer touchpoint.

This role is a temporary position for an initial three-month project period, with the possibility of extension or conversion to full time employment, subject to business requirements and performance.

What You'll Do
Brand & Product Storytelling

Lead copy development for new product development (NPD) launches, from concept and positioning through campaign execution

Craft compelling product narratives that communicate formulation innovation, ingredient benefits, and clinical efficacy

Develop launch messaging frameworks, campaign concepts, taglines, and supporting creative copy

Translate complex scientific information into clear, accessible, and engaging consumer language

Packaging & Product Experience

Write and refine primary and secondary packaging copy, including product descriptions, directions, claims, and regulatory-compliant messaging

Partner with Product Development and Regulatory teams to ensure accuracy and consistency across all packaging communications

Digital & E-Commerce

Own website copy across key consumer touchpoints, including:

Product Detail Pages (PDPs)

Landing Pages

Collection and category pages

Promotional banners

Bundles and merchandising experiences

Optimize content to balance brand storytelling, education, and conversion

CRM & Retention

Develop copy for lifecycle marketing initiatives, including:

Email campaigns

Automated customer journeys

Product launch communications

Promotional and retention programs

Write SMS messaging that reflects the brand voice while driving engagement and conversion

Social & Brand Communications

Support social media copywriting across organic and paid channels

Contribute to content calendars, campaign messaging, and brand storytelling initiatives

Ensure all communications reinforce the brand's premium positioning and strategic narrative

Brand Stewardship

Serve as a guardian of the brand voice across all channels

Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and positioning while adapting copy for channel-specific needs

Continuously evolve and refine messaging frameworks as the brand grows

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

5+ years of copywriting experience, preferably within beauty, skincare, wellness, luxury consumer goods, or related categories

Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across campaign development, digital commerce, CRM, and product storytelling

Proven ability to write within a premium, elevated brand voice

Experience translating scientific, technical, or ingredient-driven information into compelling consumer narratives

Strong understanding of skincare, beauty, wellness, or adjacent consumer categories

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to perform essential duties, with or without reasonable accommodation
