Role Description
The Director of Project Management is a senior leadership position within MC&I for a project leader who can bring structure, accountability, and business discipline to a growing organization. This role will lead and strengthen the project management function while overseeing delivery performance, project financial health, risk management, team development, and portfolio-level execution. The Director will partner closely with MC&I leadership, client-facing teams, and technical disciplines to connect project execution with client expectations, staffing needs, commercial goals, and long-term account growth. The ideal candidate is a confident, strategic leader who can develop people, improve delivery practices, support complex client relationships, and create scalable systems that help the business grow. As MC&I continues to expand, this role offers the opportunity to shape how projects are managed, how teams are developed, and how the business delivers lasting value to clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, construction management, business, or a related field from an accredited institution, with authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
8+ years of relevant experience in project management, engineering delivery, construction management, consulting, operations, or technical client services.
Demonstrated experience leading Project Managers, project teams, project delivery groups, or cross-functional teams in a client-facing environment.
Strong business and project financial acumen, including experience managing scope, schedule, budget, forecasting, profitability, risk, staffing coordination, change management, client communication, and project performance reporting.
Requirements
Experience supporting mission critical, data center, industrial, oil & gas, utility, power systems, manufacturing, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
Prior experience in an engineering consulting, professional services, EPC, construction, or technical project delivery environment.
Project Management Professional certification, advanced degree, or additional training in business, engineering, project management, or construction management.
Experience with project controls, scheduling tools, reporting dashboards, scalable delivery processes, proposal strategy, client presentations, or commercial planning.
