Position Overview The Social Media Content Creator, under the direction of the VP, Chief Marketing and Communication Officer, and the Director, Digital Marketing, will innovate and improve digital channels and products, delivering them to patients, families, consumers and clinicians through multiple platforms. This highly creative storyteller will capture and share inspiring stories, primarily through video storytelling, and collaborate with various teams to ensure content aligns with CHLA’s brand voice and amplifies key messages.
Key Responsibilities Create engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.
Produce real‑time video narratives and capture moments on the ground.
Develop written, graphic, photo, and video content that conveys CHLA’s mission.
Stay current with social media trends and best practices.
Collaborate with marketing, digital marketing, and other departments for brand consistency.
Drive digital engagement and enhance CHLA’s online presence.
Qualifications Minimum of 3 years’ experience in social media and content creation.
Proficiency in creating engaging written, graphic, photo, and video content.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Bachelor’s degree in digital design, business, marketing, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
Preferred: Master of Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or Product Development.
Compensation CHLA offers a competitive compensation package that includes a pay scale and benefits program. Final determination of starting pay will vary based on education, experience, and other factors, with additional compensation for candidates who exceed the specified qualifications.
