Recruitment and Marketing Coordinator
Position Details
School of Pharmacy (SOP), Marshall University, Huntington, WV. Full-time position, salary $38,722 - $50,339, commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity. Work week 37.5 hours, some overnight travel required.

Responsibilities
The Recruitment and Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in developing and executing strategic initiatives to support student recruitment and marketing efforts for the School of Pharmacy (SOP). This position combines leadership, planning, and communication responsibilities to enhance enrollment, promote the SOP brand, and engage prospective students through various channels and events.

Additionally, this position will assist in the creation and production of marketing and communication materials across digital, social media, email, print, and other platforms. Maintain and develop SOP marketing content for social media, newsletters, blogs, and media releases. Manage communication efforts and ensure dissemination of accurate and pertinent information. Maintain an active presence on social media platforms, including graphic design and content development.

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs.

Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.

Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.

Organization skills.

Ability to analyze course prerequisites, certification, and/or curriculum/graduation requirements.

Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information.

Ability to develop and deliver presentations to students and parents.

Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Ability to work with others in the development of recruitment brochures, flyers, and presentations.

Skills in working face-to-face and in virtual settings.

Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.

Ability to plan, assess, and evaluate programs as related to student recruitment efforts.

Ability to work and coordinate with faculty members on the recruitment team and students in recruitment and admissions processes.

Program planning and implementation skills.

Knowledge of student recruitment and retention issues.

Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals as related to recruitment and admissions.

Skill in the configuration and use of computerized programs as related to pharmacy admissions processes.

Ability to provide leadership and guidance to administrative support staff and/or students.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience: 1+ years college/professional school recruiting and admissions experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Master’s Degree.

Experience: 3+ years college/professional school recruiting, advising, and admissions experience.
